WEATHER: EAST COAST LOW FORMING TONIGHT
PHOTO: Jessica Shade captured this great shot.
The words, east coast low, can make anyone in the east shudder. The good news for us is, we are on the northern side of its centre. Tonight it will get very cold and very windy with snow to come down across the higher peaks of the northern ranges, we should see a nice blanket of white gather on the Barringtons overnight. The winds will remain very strong for the Greater Hunter, NW, Tablelands and MNC coast as the low moves out into the Tasman at the end of the week. Showers heavy at times will hit the coastal communities of the Central Coast to Port Macquarie. Seas and swell will also rise.
