WAUCHOPE CBD UPGRADES FINALISED

Wauchope’s CBD is just weeks away from being open to the public.

The $3 million High Street upgrade includes new seating, pathways, gardens, street lights and a second pedestrian crossing.

A new speed limit of 40 kilometres an hour will be enforced along High Street and surrounding roads.

The project, which is jointly funded by Port Macquarie Council and the state government, is set to be finished in November.
