COALITION PLEDGES FUNDS FOR SOUTHERN CROSS LADS
The election promises have continued in the seat of Page, with the coalition pledging $250,000 to not-for-profit organisation Southern Cross LADS – if re-elected.
The funding would go towards a long-awaited 500-metre, purpose-built driver education track, to be built in Lismore.
“It’s been a community dream to have a track here, where young drivers learn the skills so that they don’t have accidents and they’re more skilled and trained in driving on our roads”
The track will cost $800,000.
