A motorcyclist has been killed in a crash on the New England Highway at Parkville , north of Scone.
The single vehicle accident happened at about 9.30 am
Meanwhile the closure of the Pacific Highway due to flooding in several locations has added extra burden to the inland route.
RTA repair crews have been tasked to the New England Highway between Singleton and Scone, where numerous potholes have opened up due to wet weather and heavy traffic.
Travellers have reported damaged tyres and suspensions on their vehicles.
