BALLOT PAPERS DRAWN

Candidates running for the seat of New England were officially declared by the Australian Electoral Commission today.
10 have put their hand up to contest the electorate, and when voters head to the polling booths on July 2, they’ll find sitting MP and Deputy Prime Minister, Barnaby Joyce, listed eighth just after his rival independent candidate Tony Windsor.
Meanwhile five candidates have put their hat in the ring for the seat of Parkes, with sitting MP Mark Coulton drawing last on the ballot paper.
