A series of raids in Tamworth, Gunnedah and Moonbi over the past 48 hours has seen two arrests made, as well as drugs and weapons seized, from alleged Outlaw Motorcycle Gang members.
Oxley Area Local Command teamed up with Federal Police as part of Strike Force Raptor, an operation targeting organised crime.
A collection of knives was also allegedly seized from a premises in Tamworth’s Park Street.
Police are also in the process of dismantling a gang clubhouse in Gunnedah which they claim has been operating illegally.
“We monitor our outlaw motorcycle gangs and their associates in this area, as they do in the rest of the state, quite intensely,” said Oxley Local Area Command Inspector Jeff Budd.
