A pedestrian has been killed after being struck by a car at Lake Maquarie yesterday.
Shortly before 6pm on Saturday, emergency services responded to reports of a man being hit by a car on the Pacific Highway at Marks Point.
The man died at the scene. He has not been formally identified.
The female driver of the car was uninjured. She was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Police are urging any witnesses to come forward.
