NATIONALS PROMISE MORE FUNDING ACROSS MARGINAL SEATS

Deputy Nationals leader Fiona Nash continued the coalition’s charm offensive throughout the region today.
If re-elected, it’s promising to improve mobile coverage in the marginal electorate of Page, by constructing phone towers at Nammoona, Ramornie, Yorklea and Kyogle.
Closer to the coast, three million dollars was also pledged towards the construction of a 6.7 million dollar industrial precinct, next to Ballina Byron Gateway Airport.
“What we need is a good foundation of industry and of course this industrial precicnt will lay the foundaiton for the airport, and jobs and grwoth right throughout this region.”
That funding is also contingent on the Coalition retaining government.
