Ballina Shire Council has agreed to foot the bill for emergency repairs to the Merv Graham stand at Kingsford Smith Park.
$30,000 dollars will be spent replacing deteriorating timber benches and rusty supports, as well as parts of the roof.
The ground is home to the Ballina Seagulls rugby league club and hosts several popular events each year.
