MAN CHARGED OVER HEAD-ON COLLISION ON THE MID NORTH COAST
A 74-year-old has been charged with dangerous driving after a head-on collision earlier this year on the mid-north coast.
On March the 3rd, emergency services attended a crash on the Pacific Highway, near Clybucca, where a Mitsubishi Lancer and a Toyota Hiace campervan had collided.
The two men in the campervan, both aged 18, suffered serious injuries, with one man being airlifted to John Hunter Hospital. Both men were German Nationals, and have since left the country.
The 74-year-old driver of the Lancer also suffered serious injuries, and was treated at Port Macquarie Hospital.
Police investigations led to the man being charged with two counts of dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.
He will appear in court on Monday 27 June.
