A Brisbane man has appeared in court over the alleged armed robbery of a woman in Southport on Friday.
Around 5:30pm, a man armed with a hammer approached a woman on Wardoo Street in Southport, and demanded money.
The woman, aged 24, complied and the man fled on foot. The woman was uninjured.
Police later charged a 24-year-old Annerley man with armed robbery and possessing dangerous drugs.
He appeared in Southport Magistrates Court today.
