WEATHER: ANOTHER RECORD BREAKING SUMMER

PHOTO: Geoff Childs snapped some serene seagulls at Gosford.
January was very wet for the Hunter and MNC, one of the wettest on record in fact with 534mm putting to eighth position. February was the opposite for NSW overall being the driest since 1978. Rather than experiencing extreme heat it was consistently hot driving up averages for the entire region. The first week of Autumn is going to be hot and dry for the NW, Hunter and MNC while the Northern Rivers and SE QLD will see more shower activity , heavy at times.
