SERIOUS INCIDENT AT TAREE WITH FIVE JOCKEYS INJURED

There has been a serious incident at Taree Wingham Race Club today, with Racing NSW reporting five jockeys injured in a spectacular race fall.

4-year-old Bazza’s Boy was the first horse to fall, with jockey Samantha Clenton suffering suspected fractures to her left leg and collarbone.

Four of the five injured jockeys have been transported to Taree Hospital, with injuries ranging from minor concussion to complains of rib pain and general soreness.

There is currently no information regarding the status of the horses.
