Police are warning Far North Coast businesses to be on the lookout for counterfeit cash.
Earlier this week, a staff member at a Tweed Heads fast food outlet, caught a customer attempting to pay using a fake fifty dollar note.
Anyone else with information about the bogus money is asked to contact crime-stoppers.
