Students got a taste of life after school, at today’s Careers Expo in Tamworth.
2,000 young job-hunters got to meet with 100 exhibitors, to talk about pursuing their dream careers.
For many, it was also an opportunity to compare universities.
“It’s really good just to know your options and what’s out there, available for students like us, because especially in a rural area we don’t get much experience,” said student Eve Bishton.
“We get to showcase everything that’s on offer to school students, so our target market, who might be interested in coming to TAFE to school, or as a Gap Year, or as a post-school option,” said TAFE New England marketing coordinator Trina Constable.
The expo is now in its 26th year.
