BOWRAVILLE “FRESH AND COMPELLING EVIDENCE”

The officer in charge of a new investigation into the unsolved murders of three Aboriginal children at Bowraville 25 years ago says there’s now fresh and compelling evidence, which would allow all three offences to be tried together.

Detective Inspector Gary Jubelin says he and his officers are finalising a brief of evidence which they hope to have before the Attorney General next week.

The bodies of 16-year-old Clinton Speedy-Duroux and four-year-old Evelyn Greenup were found near the Bowraville Aboriginal Mission on the New South Wales Mid-North Coast in the early 1990s.

Colleen Walker-Craig has never been found.
