A man in his 50s has died, after being pulled from the surf at Crescent Head on the mid north coast this afternoon.
Surf Life Saving New South Wales says he was surfing at the popular break just before three o’clock, when he hit his head and lost consciousness.
Beachgoers and paramedics performed CPR, but the man couldn’t be revived.
