A JOG FOR MOTHERS DAY

Meanwhile others in the community were up bright and early this morning, doing their bit to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
More than 300 people donned pink outfits for the Mother’s Day Classic, walking or running to raise awareness and vital funds.
With one in eight women developing breast cancer in their lifetime, it’s a cause close to many hearts.
“This is the fourth year that we’ve hosted the local Mother’s Day Classic here in Tamworth, it’s for a great cause and it’s just so wonderful to see so many people out this morning enjoying it,” said organiser Peter Annis-Brown.
The charity hopes to raise $4-million for research.
