Tamworth Thunderbolts junior Nick Kay has signed for the Illawarra Hawks for the upcoming National Basketball League season.
After the Townsville Crocodiles folded, the reigning NBL rookie of the year also drew interest from Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane.
The 206-centimetre power forward will be at his new club for two years.
