Police have identified a young woman whose naked body was found in a blow hole on the Central Coast almost a week ago.
Mengmei Leng’s body was discovered by a tourist in the water at Snapper Point on Sunday morning and police believe she had been murdered. She was a 25-year-old international student from China.
Detectives have released CCTV images of Ms Leng shopping in Pitt Street Sydney last Thursday afternoon. She then caught a train from St James Station to Campsie, arriving about 4.30.
Police are appealing for anyone with information on Ms Leng’s movements on the ANZAC long weekend.
