Before you get too excited The rain totals aren’t going to be huge but at least something is on the way for the inland areas of the very dry North West. It is likely the upper Hunter totals won’t be very big either, probably less than the North West.
April has been consistently very warm with above average temperatures and we’ll probably be close to breaking more records once all the temperatures are in for the month. The system will spread across the region over the weekend so expect increased cloud cover and rain at times. Some storm cell development is also likely.
