NSW PREMIER REJECTS CALLS TO BAN OFFENSIVE VANS

New South Wales Premier Mike Baird has rejected calls to ban offensive slogans on the Wicked Camper fleet, saying he doesn’t “think it’s something that the state government should be getting involved in.”
It comes as Byron Shire Councillor Duncan Dey prepares to put forward a motion at tomorrow’s council meeting seeking the premier’s support on the matter.
Councillor Dey also wants to see the vehicles banned from council caravan parks, and have signs erected at the shire’s entry points, warning drivers that certain slogans aren’t welcome in the region.
