BAXTER WINS IN SPEEDWAY FINALE

Lismore’s motorsport season came to a spectacular end last night, with the running of the modified sedan championship final.

Rain and accidents hampered its running, with Brenton Mills flipping in the straight after hitting Brad Yarrow.

Gympie’s Brett Baxter went on to claim the checkered flag, to claim his maiden national title.
