NEW LAMBTON DOG ATTACK VICTIM IN STABLE CONDITION

An elderly woman has now undergone surgery to her forearm, after being mauled by a dog at New Lambton on Friday.
The 81-year-old remains in a stable condition in John Hunter Hospital.
The woman was walking her own dog when the second animal attacked her.
Police say they’re not pursuing the matter, and no charges will be laid.
