Kids, tweens and teens were in their element today, at the annual Crankfest Youth Festival.
The Evans Head event, now in its eleventh year, featured a skate competition, local musicians, and even a jelly eating contest.
“They see peer to peer stuff happening, and they’re encouraged by the fact that they see other young people doing really cool stuff, and it gives them inspiration to do their own thing, whatever that may be.”
The event is organised by the Mid Richmond Neighbourhood Centre.
