A Central Coast man will face court next month, after he allegedly posed as a returned serviceman and attended functions on national days of commemoration.
Police searched the 27-year-old’s Umina Beach home yesterday and allegedly found replica military medals, badges and a pistol.
He was later charged with dishonestly obtaining financial advantage by deception, and possessing an unauthorised firearm.
He’s been granted conditional bail, to appear in Gosford Local Court on May 17.
