A brand new E- waste facility has been earmarked for Inverell, with the federal government handing over more than $1- million to the local Warra-li group today.
It will aim to service a number of nearby councils, including Narrabri, Moree, Gwydir and Glen Innes.
The project will also include a Buy Back Centre.
Once constructed, it’ll offer at least six permanent positions and will recruit more employees via a ‘work for the dole’ program.
