Sydney’s Garry Millburn and Wangi’s Chris Aitken engaged in an epic battle at the first cyclocross event of the year at the Adamstown velodrome.
A strong field took part in the main event, but by lap three, it was Millburn and Aitken who set the pace.
“Ride it, ride it, ride it. Garry.”
The pair made light work of the redesigned course, with only Michael Potter giving chase in the opening stages.
By the end of the 45 minute race, it was Millburn who enjoyed a comfortable victory.
