One person is dead following a car and truck crash on the New England Highway this morning, about 10 kilometres north of Wallabadah.
Emergency services were called around 10:30, after reports of a head on collision.
Upon arrival the driver of a blue sedan was trapped and died at the scene.
The truck driver was uninjured.
The highway was closed in both directions for some time, with traffic redirected to Burgmann’s Lane.
