The Namoi Joint Organisation has launched a region-wide study to investigate the safest routes for B-doubles and AB-triple road trains to access and where upgrades can be made.
It’ll include a review of local roads and bridges, as well as collecting opinions from freight operators through an online survey.
An independent consultant has been engaged and will look at areas including Tamworth, Gunnedah, Moree and Narrabri.
