Former Forster Tuncurry Hawks Coach Troy Hilder was absent from his first court appearance in Forster today.
The 38-year-old is facing drug supply charges, after he was arrested in March as part of an extensive covert police investigation.
Police will allege the former coach was involved in a drug ring which also included Dean Simpson, another prominent member of the Group 3 Rugby League community.
Both men will appear before Taree Local Court in a fortnight.
