NEW ENGLAND TOURISM CAMPAIGN TO CONTINUE

The New England high country campaign has been thrown a lifeline, after Inland New South Wales Tourism announced it had entered voluntary administration.
$100,000 is still owing on the promotional campaign, funded by the tourism body, which has lured thousands of visitors to the region.
Now it looks like the show can go on – much to the relief of organisers.
“I’ve now got assurances from the state government that Destination New South Wales will actually quarantine that money and will actually honour the commitments that Inland Tourism entered into.”
The funds will ensure the campaign can run for another six months.
