Armidale Dumaresq will submit its proposal for a four-council merger to the state government by next week – despite the plan being unpopular with the other councils involved.
It follows an extraordinary meeting to discuss the details around creating one large ‘New England’ council.

Less than 0.1% of your residents bother to show at the public meetings where as Walcha, Uralla & Guyra council regions manage 25-30% of residents show to voice their opposition
