The skipper of a small boat has had a close escape, after his dinghy capsized off Coffs Harbour marina today.
According to eyewitnesses, the boat was upturned in windy conditions about 3:10 Friday afternoon, and narrowly avoided ending up on the marina rocks.
Fortunately the sole occupant of the boat, a man believed to be aged in his 30’s, was able to swim to shore.
There were no reports of injuries.
