The New South Wales Land and Environment Court Commissioner has conditionally approved Baiada Poultry’s proposed broiler farm at Manilla.
The decision follows more than a year of protests from residents who are concerned about a number of issues with the $82 million development, including increased b- double truck movements and noise.
The farm plan includes 70 sheds, which will be built on a property called “Strathfield”.
The original development application was approved by Tamworth Regional Council in 2014.
