WOMENS RUGBY BUILDING TOWARDS COUNTRY CHAMPS

Following a recent focus on fostering junior girls rugby union, senior women in the New England North West will have a chance to test their skills next month.
On April 30, Tamworth will host the New South Wales Country Championships, with seven teams expected to participate.
Despite not having a side in two years, Central North is making a late bid for a team, with an open training run on Sunday morning to help attract recruits.
The session will be at Chillingworth Oval from 11am.
