Residents of Wyong Shire will soon be able to apply for disaster relief, with the Commonwealth extending grants to include those affected by the January storms.
Wyong Council has welcomed the move, stating it will apply for funds to help repair local roads.
Areas across the shire were severely damaged by wild weather earlier this year, with Berkley Vale the worst affected.
Residents affected by the storms should contact the Disaster Welfare Assistance Line on 1800 678 593.
