MILLER SAYS JETS STILL HAVE PLENTY TO PLAY FOR

While they’re finals hopes are all but over, Jets’ coach Scott Miller insists his side still has plenty to play for in the remaining three rounds.

“If we maximise every fixture now we’ll obtain 36 points. If you look at the past four years the average to achieve finals football is 35 points. So if we can get 36 and not creep into the finals series, I see that as a good year.”

It comes amid speculation the F-F-A is edging closer to securing a buyer for the club, something Miller says ISN’T affecting his ability to re-sign players.

“Yes we are progressive in our thoughts and planning for next year, but at this point our focus is the next three games.”
