Two men who drowned at Coffs Harbour yesterday afternoon have been identified as foreign nationals from India and Bangladesh.
The tragedy has renewed calls for tourists and locals to heed warning signs on beaches.

its a pity that people dont listen or look for rips .a few yrs ago i yelled out to people in a blow up rubber raaft at sawtell headland not to go into the surf in the raft they didnt listen the next day they went in again when i wasnt there and a 18 yr old boy drowned ,how sad.they didnt listen .diggers beach is another beach that has 2 permanent rips.but the tourists dont listen
