HUNTER CAR CRASH CLAIMS A LIFE
A nasty car crash has claimed the life of a mother and injured four children, in the Hunter Valley.
The 49-year-old from Dubbo was driving along the Golden Highway at Sandy Hollow just before six last night, when her car left the road and crashed into a fence post, before rolling and hitting a telegraph pole.
The woman died at the scene, while her children, aged between five and 15, suffered minor injures.
They remain at John Hunter Hospital.
