BASKETBALL GREATS TOUCH DOWN IN TAREE

Budding Indigenous basketball stars in Taree were given a chance to rub shoulders with some of the game’s greats during a training clinic at Purfleet today.

Running through drills and skills with former and current NBA players, participants of all ages were put through their paces while being taught the finer points of the game.

The visit is part of a nation wide approach to increasing interest in basketball at a grass roots level.
