The Jets need to win all of their remaining games to have any chance of making the finals, and coach Scott Miller is confident they can do it.
“It’s not over until it’s over and my job was to compete for 27 games not 22 or 23. So we’ll compete right to the end.”
Daniel Mullen and Jason Hoffman will return from suspension to face Melbourne Victory on Sunday, but Miller says they aren’t certainties to start.
“Ultimately they dealt with their forward threat very well. And with the number of games Nick and Lachlan have had between them, I think it’s 20 or 25 games, their performances and support for the team throughout the year has been great to see.”
