A boundaries commission inquiry will happen next month to analyse the proposed merger between Armidale, Guyra, Uralla and Walcha councils.
It will be assessed alongside the initial Armidale- Guyra proposal, as well as the one involving Walcha and Tamworth.
Hearings will take place in Walcha and Uralla on April 7, and in Armidale and Guyra on April 8.
As a result, Uralla Shire Council’s Acting General Manager Glenn Inglis has resigned.
He’ll be replaced by George Cowan.
