The Westpac Rescue Helicopter is preparing to host its annual ‘Beauty in the Green’ fundraiser at Bonville Resort.
During today’s launch, the rescue serviced called on the public to get behind the ladies only golfing event.
“The day raises over $10,000 which helps us to save lives right across the region.”
“We’re a free of charge service and each year we have to fundraise over $5 million a year to keep it that way, so events like this and support from everyone, that helps make it possible.”
The charity day tee’s off on April 7.
