LATEST HOSPITAL REPORT CARD REVEALS WAIT TIMES INCREASING
The average wait time across most triage categories in emergency departments at North West and New England hospitals is on the rise, according to the latest Bureau of Health Information report, released today.
More than 10,000 people attended Tamworth’s ED between October and December last year.
The average wait time for emergency patients increased by two minutes, while non- urgent patients had to wait an additional 19 minutes for treatment, compared to the same time last year.
Wait times at Armidale, Narrabri and Moree hospital also increased, however patients attending Inverell Hospital were seen quicker.
