PORT STEPHENS POLICE OFFICER FAREWELLED IN EMOTIONAL SERVICE
Inner-city Newcastle was bathed in blue this afternoon, in a fitting farewell to a dedicated police officer.
Sergeant Geoffrey Richardson died on the way to a police pursuit in the Hunter Valley just over a week ago.
Today, he was remembered as an outstanding officer, proud family man, and a good bloke.
