Pacific National will cut a further 50 jobs from its Hunter workforce, as part of a state-wide restructure.
The Rail, Tram and Bus Union says 200 logistics and operational jobs will be moved from regional areas, to the company’s headquarters in Sydney.
It comes just over a month after Pacific National slashed 46 local train driver positions, blaming a downturn in exports out of the Port of Newcastle.
