Walcha residents will join thousands of others across the state at Sydney’s Hyde Park tomorrow to protest against forced council amalgamations.
Nearly 50 per cent of New South Wales councils have been threatened with mergers, including Walcha, Uralla and Guyra.
A number of politicians are expected to join the group, which believes the Baird Government has removed residents’ democratic rights.
