They’re already regarded as heroes, but today members of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter service took that to a new level.
It was all to help launch their Superhero Stride fundraiser – a three kilometre fun run along Newcastle Foreshore on May 22.
There’ll also be food stalls and entertainment afterwards at Nobbys Beach Reserve.
And yes, superhero costumes are encouraged, with prizes for the best-dressed.
