Australia’s richest Country Race meeting at Scone, proved a big day for many but for fledgling trainer Todd Howlett it was career changing.
As breeders celebrated a win over the Bickham Coal proposal and the club announced an even bigger carnival for next year, Howlett’s galloper Star of Octagonal claimed the rich Guineas.
